Achieved so far
- Our representatives completed professional training on the Bodrog River in Hungary (September 2025), bringing the Plastic Cup model experience to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Participation in an international workshop in Budapest (September 2025), in cooperation with partners from 13 countries.
- Working meeting in Bratislava within the Interreg project framework (August 2025).
Currently
- Established teams in three municipalities: Zavidovići, Maglaj, and Olovo
- 50 representatives from various legal entities involved
- Local coordinators appointed
- Public awareness and civic engagement campaign ongoing
- The most liked citizen messages will be printed on river information boards
- Procurement and installation of billboards along the Krivaja River
- Creation of an illegal dumpsite registry: mapping critical locations
Coming next: Countdown to action on the Krivaja River. A new, more structured and systemic approach.
This is not just a campaign. This is a movement. Krivaja is our treasure. It is time to prove it through action.
The KRIOT project is implemented in a consortium between UDEG and the Municipality of Olovo, in cooperation with the Rivers of BiH ecological movement "Be the Change", with over 50 different stakeholders in the Krivaja river basin.
